Tell me a Story

I am currently watching Tell Me a Story and I am extremely confused. I was told it was a twist on fairy tale stories. Watching it it seemed like it is a simple tv show with some hints on fairy tales. Due to the complicated nature of this show when I do finish, I will do a separate three part review for season 1 and at the moment I do not think I will do a review for season 2. I am curious how this season will end but it is messing with my brain and irritating to watch this show.
