Exploring the Strip

And I am back…My husband is at his D&D group, my oldest is in his room playing quietly after eating dinner and my two youngest are..actually they are asleep.

We are exploring the Strip. We are currently in the NCR Embassy, in the second building. If you are in the central room there are two doors. One leads to a small hallway with two bathrooms and a jail cell and in the second room is the weapons hold right behind the yellow-hard locked door. Everything in both buildings were not loot-able. (Remember everything red is stealing can cause either lost of Karma or people around you to become hostile)

Moving on to Michael Angelo’s (right across the street): The door leads into a large office space that looks like an old H&H Tool Company building. Nothing is loot-able. There is a door at the back of the room and it leads into a workshop of sorts. Directly to the right is a doorway. Heading through it you will notice there is a pathway on the floor. Following the pathway and the way to the end is a door. This door leads into a room where Michael Angelo is working. We can leave him for now and keep exploring. In the back of this work room is a door, where an assistant walks out. This is a living area with a bed and bathroom. The workroom has billboards scattered everyone.

There are two stairs in the main workshop area. We are currently on the one to the right-hand side. Heading up those stairs, there are workbenches scattered everywhere. As I am walking around, I see three people: Michael Angelo, Kate and an assistant. The assistant won’t talk to you because she is busy but Kate will. She tells you that Michael Angelo’s is where all the billboards of the Strip are created.

Talking to Michael Angelo and find out that Mr. House requested some new billboards to be made…interesting. We have two options, a speech check or a repair check to find more info. I will try the Speech check first. I won’t take any caps from him so I won’t choose the speech check to get 300 caps (you can though). This chose to not do the speech check lets us find out that “Michael Angelo” is truly Sheldon from Vault 21. Talking to him you find he is losing his inspiration. You can pass two checks, a speech check or medicine check. The med check confirms a diagnosis of acute agoraphobia while the speech check makes you lie to him about working with Mr House. I think the medicine check is more beneficial…He lacks inspiration and could use a escort through the wasteland….nope he doesn’t want to do that exactly. He wants us to take pictures at billboards around New Vegas. I can do that. He gives us a camera to take the pictures.

And with that…I have explored everywhere on the Strip. Lets do some quests…The new one is Classic Inspiration: lets take some pictures…

  • Sunset Saraparilla HQ…..check
  • Helios One…..check
  • McCarran Airfield…..check
  • Bison Steve(Primm)….check
  • Novac….check

Ok I finished, lets go back to Michael Angelo…And he gave me 750 caps and even an extra 500 caps. Quest completed…

Next quest: Things that go Boom..Yes thats right we are going to the Boomers…

The Boomers are said to be at the Nellis Air Force Base on the Northeast part of the map. The closest location I have discovered is Raul’s shack. SO we will start there. We move slowly and carefully. No need to get blown up. Btw best to save now if you (and I haven’t) haven’t yet…..

  1. I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the
layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s
rare to see a great blog like this one today.
